Corn meal swallow (tuwon masara)

Ingredients

  1. 3 cups corn meal
  2. Water

Steps

    Put water in a pot & allow it to boil
  2. 2
    Divide your corn meal into two, pour one part into a bowl, add water & mix until its smooth.Avoid lumps & make sure its not too watery

    Pour it into the boiling water & use your turning stick to mix.Allow it to cook for some minutes

    Pour the second part of the corn meal gradually into the paste & stir, keep turning with a turning stick until its thick.It should not be too thick. Cover the pot & allow it to steam for 3 minutes

    Mould it inside leather. Corn meal swallow is ready.Serve with any soup of your choice
