French Fries

  1. 3 Potatoes (Big)
  2. 1 Tsp Salt
  3. 3-4 Cups Water
  4. 1 tsp Oil for frying

    First of all wash potatoes properly with water Peel it's skin and cut it into long and thinner shape and wash them again with water.

    Now take a pan add water in it, add some salt and let the water come to boil.Once the water is boiled then add potatoes cuts in it and boil them for 5 minutes till they becomes little softer.

    After 5 mins take the potato pieces out of the pan and put them on a strainer to strain excess water from it add dry them for 20-25 mins.

    Now heat up oil in a pan,add oil in it.Once the oil becomes hot then add dried potato pieces in oil and fry them for 2 mins.

    During first frying we don't have to fry them a lot. Do this process for all fries.

    Now during second frying, heat up oil on high flame and add fries in hot oil and fry them till they turns golden brown in colour.

    Once the fries are fried well take them out on an absorbent paper.French fries are ready,add some salt and chilli powder/black pepper powder in it mix well and serve hot with ketchup.
